Michigan Food & Farming Systems' (MIFFS’) farmer networks are regional and population based. The networks serve as a space for sharing challenges and opportunities, helping farmers build knowledge and connections that lead to innovation and creative problem solving for success.
Farmer Networks include:
Michigan Beginning and Underserved Farmers
Veterans in Agriculture
Red Productores Hispanos
Women in Agriculture
Activities within the MIFFS farmer networks are supported by funding from USDA office of Outreach and Advocacy, USDA Farm Service Agency, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and more.
MIFFS continues to work on creating new networks to connect more farmers.
